Flo Bastiaensen (1995, Belgium) is a visual artist based in Antwerp whose painterly practice unfolds as an ongoing investigation into image, matter and perception. Trained in Fine Arts, her work emerges from a deeply embodied approach in which the act of painting is not only a formal production but also an experienced gesture. Inspired by the tradition of the Flemish old masters and by the textures of the natural world, Bastiaensen cultivates an intimate and restrained aesthetic.
